The school district of Camden County, North Carolina is comprised of a total of 16 schools that serve the students of the county. The school district is divided into two separate districts, which are the Camden County School District and the Carteret County School District. These two districts are responsible for providing educational opportunities to students in grades K-12. The Camden County School District is comprised of ten schools which include five elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools. The district offers a variety of programs that are designed to meet the needs of all students and help them reach their academic goals. These programs include advanced placement courses as well as specialized classes in areas such as math and science. The Carteret County School District consists of six schools including four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Like the Camden County School District, this district also offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of its students and help them succeed academically. In addition to these programs, they also have an array of extracurricular activities such as sports teams and clubs that allow for further exploration outside the classroom. Both districts strive to provide quality education to all students while also promoting a safe learning environment for everyone involved. Through their various programs and activities they hope to give their students the best chance possible for success both in and out of the classroom.
